Bengal Tiger Population
The Bengal tiger's population is currently decreasing, leaving them as an endangered species. There are many different variations of tigers, and the Bengal tiger seems to be the one that is best surviving. The Bengal tigers' stripes used to be a helpful camouflage adaptation, but it is evident that that trait isn't helping very much anymore. Their sharp hearing and good eyesight is helping them stay just above extinct, but since the biggest reason tigers everywhere are disappearing are because of humans, who knows when their time will come. My prediction is that these tigers, already so close to extinction, will become extinct in the next 20 years. I hope that doesn't happen, but that seems to be the way it's going to go.
If the tiger were to go extinct, we would have a major increase in the tigers' prey, such as moose and deer. The moose and deer will overpopulate the area, using up valuable resources in that habitat.
